This is a great opportunity for families or small groups to get involved in mission! There are some jobs which require specific skills but most can be done by anyone. .
There are always things to do! Men's Groups, Parents of campers, Youth Groups, Families, Fellowship Groups, Anybody! Camp Cherith depends much on volunteer labor for site improvement and camp fix-up projects.
We have a list of large and small jobs, jobs requiring skill and jobs requiring nothing but enthusiasm (and the proper tools). Improving drainage painting, foundation repairs, repair storm windows, repair dining hall gutters and fascia..... of course some of these jobs are more weather sensitive than others, and some we will only schedule if we know we have a large enough crew coming.
Your site committee AND YOUR CAMPERS will greatly appreciate your help (ask your favorite camper what job THEY think is most important). Please let us know if you can come, bring a group from your church and enjoy the fellowship. PS: we also need to hear from you so that we have the right amount of FOOD!
The dining hall roof is 30 years old and has done its time. It is time to install a new roof and improved ventilation.
The "White House" is our wonderful vintage farm house, home to our new caretakers, Dan & Penny Bowld. Help us update its interior charm and character . T-House- Needs Painting.
