CAMP CHERITH is located at 9534 Short Tract Road, Hunt, NY. It is approximately 65 miles southeast of Buffalo and 55 miles southwest of Rochester near the southern end of Letchworth State Park. It is located on Short Tract Road (County Road #20) north of the town of Hunt, NY, and 1/2 mile south of the intersection of routes 436 and 70.
From Buffalo: Take Route 20A to Route 19 in Warsaw. Turn right in Warsaw and then turn onto 19A and go to Route 436 in Portageville (past the South entrance to Letchworth) and turn left. Go up the hill and about another mile to Short Tract Road on the right. It is also marked as County Road 20 and is marked as the way to HUNT. Camp is 1/2 mile south of Rt. 436 at the top of the first hill, on the right.
From Rochester: Take I-390 South to Mt. Morris exit. Go west into Mt. Morris. Turn left onto Rt. 36, at the first stoplight (main intersection) in Mt. Morris, then go 1 block south and turn right onto Rt. 408 at the first traffic light. Continue west and south to Nunda. Turn right onto Rt. 436 at the traffic light in Nunda. Go out of town and up the hill. Just past the farm on the left, turn left onto Short Tract Road (County Road 20; it is at the intersection of Routes 436 and 70) toward Hunt. Camp is 1/2 mile south of Rt. 436 at the top of the first hill, on the right.
